AdsPals & X

How sponsored posts work on X.

Paid partnerships are allowed on X.

X lets creators publish sponsored posts they have been paid for, as long as the commercial relationship is properly disclosed and the content follows X’s rules. That is a normal, supported thing to do on the platform.

AdsPals is built around that model rather than around it.

Read X’s Paid Partnerships Policy

You approve it. You post it. AdsPals verifies it.

Your account stays yours, start to finish. We never ask for access to it and we could not post from it if we wanted to.

Creators stay in control

  • You approve every advertiser and see the exact post before anything happens.
  • AdsPals never publishes from your account.
  • AdsPals never asks for access to your X account, and holds no permission over it.
  • You publish the sponsored post yourself, from your own account.

Sponsored posts are disclosed

  • Every post booked through AdsPals carries #ad. We add it automatically and it cannot be removed.
  • You also turn on X’s own Paid Partnership disclosure when you publish. It is a toggle in the content disclosure settings, and X then labels the post itself.
  • These are two separate requirements, and both matter.

Who does what

AdsPals handles

  • Discovery and booking
  • Payment and refunds
  • The approved post copy
  • Placement verification
  • Rental timing
  • Payout eligibility

You handle

  • Approving the advertiser
  • Publishing the post
  • Turning on the disclosure
  • Pinning it, where the booking includes pinning

Why we don’t post for you

We could have built AdsPals to publish through your account automatically. We deliberately did not.

You are the one responsible for what appears on your profile, so you should be the one who puts it there. It also keeps AdsPals what it should be: a marketplace and a verification layer, not social publishing software with the keys to your account.

The practical version: if you change your mind before publishing, nothing happens. If you decline a booking, nothing happens. Nothing reaches your profile that you did not put there yourself.

We don’t override X’s rules

  • X’s Paid Partnerships policy excludes some categories entirely, including alcohol, tobacco and vaping, weapons, drugs and CBD, adult content, dating services, contraceptives, pharmaceuticals, health and wellness supplements, weight loss products, and political or geopolitical content promoted commercially.
  • AdsPals will not knowingly book those, and our own advertising rules go further in places.
  • Advertising law where the post is seen applies too, and so do X’s general rules.
  • We can refuse or cancel any booking, and we refund the buyer when we do.

Just so we are clear

AdsPals is an independent marketplace. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by X Corp. X’s policies can change at any time, and creators and advertisers stay responsible for making sure what they publish follows X’s current rules and the law where it is seen.
